Hey There
Lucas continues to pursue his dream of writing good country music and performing around the Midwest.

"Country music has always been in our home growing up. In the house, in the truck - pretty much everywhere. It's in the fiber of who I am today and I have my folks to thank for that, for sure!”
About Lucas Matthew
He’s shared stages with some of the best in country music. Lucas had the amazing opportunity to open for songwriter of “Ask Me How I Know” and “Dive Bar”, Mitch Rossell, which Garth Brooks made a #1 single. Rossell opened all of Garth Brooks Summer Stadium Tours in 2022 and also has written songs for Garth himself as well as having a duet with Trisha Yearwood. He has sung the National Anthem for summer concert series including Brad Paisley, Dustin Lynch, Chris Lane, Ernest, Zach Miller, and Dylan Scott.

His early influences have been the greats ... George Jones, Merle Haggard, George Strait, Neal McCoy, Joe Diffie, Garth Brooks, Steve Wariner, Kenny Chesney, Wade Hayes, and all the greats of the 90’s. Today you can find Lucas strapping on a 6-string and taking the stage to blend the old school sounds of yesterday and the edgy rock and roll of today with still keeping it true to his country music roots.

“I’m so honored and blessed to have the band I have backing me up and sharing this journey with me. I don’t deserve any of them but man, they seem to keep hanging out and coming back so we just keep going!”

Lucas' first studio album, “Daddy's Truck”, comes out this summer 2023 on all the streaming platforms such as iTunes, Spotify, and Amazon Music. He continues daily songwriting and coming up with stories that tell of everyday life in the country. It's a life we all are living. We hope to see you at one of his shows because after all, isn’t that country music?
